{"id":742,"date":"2019-12-12T11:04:22","date_gmt":"2019-12-12T11:04:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.twentysix03.com\/?p=742"},"modified":"2021-07-20T11:22:34","modified_gmt":"2021-07-20T10:22:34","slug":"bbc3-greenlights-salon-series","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.twentysix03.com\/index.php\/2019\/12\/12\/bbc3-greenlights-salon-series\/","title":{"rendered":"BBC3 greenlights salon series"},"content":{"rendered":"\r\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.broadcastnow.co.uk\/broadcasters\/bbc\" rel=\"intextlink_0\">BBC3<\/a> is set to give viewers an insight into the goings-on of a Northern salon in an ob doc series from Twenty Six O3.\r\n<p><strong>Angels of the North <\/strong>(8 x 15) will be set in Longlox, a salon in the North East, and will feature its young stylists, their manager Bev and owner Sammyjo Pearson.<\/p>\r\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s hugely important that BBC3 showcases young lives from across the UK,\u201d said channel controller Fiona Campbell.<\/p>\r\n<p>\u201cAngels of the North promises to be a really aspirational, relatable series that features big characters with ambition and talent.\u201d<\/p>\r\n<p>Duncan Gray\u2019s Twenty Six 03 produced last year\u2019s BBC3 single\u00a0Beauty Blowout: The Races, which followed stylists in a Liverpool-based salon as their clients prepare for Grand National\u2019s Ladies Day.<\/p>\r\n<p>Angels of the North is being series produced by\u00a0Steve Earley and executive produced by Gray and Antonia Hurford-Jones.<\/p>\r\n<p>They said in a joint statement: \u201cSammyjo, Bev and their young team are brilliant at what they do.
